You are legally entitled to your credit report for two pounds. Whilst the credit reference agencies will offer you lots of other products at a much higher cost, the two pounds report has everthing we need within it to help you.

Today we learn that the FSA despite its promises hasn't used mystery shoppers since March 2010, no wonder the banks continue to get away mis-selling.

Situation with PPI claims

17 May 2011

We are getting a lot of enquiries from people regarding the Banks losing the Judicial Review and deciding not to appeal the decision.

The Banks have said they will payout on claims. The confusion is that they aren't going to just send out cheques, the claim's have to be submitted and questionnaires completed, if the bank upholds the complaint then they will make an offer to settle the matter. The claims still have to be won and they aren't going to just uphold all of them.

The situation is further complicated for anyone that has had an IVA or Trust Deed as they will try and keep the refund.

Judicial Review-Update

09 May 2011

The British Bankers Association this morning announced that they wouldn't appeal against the decision by the Judicial Review.

This should make claiming for the mis-selling of PPI a lot easier for people that haven't been in an IVA or Trust Deed.
